The hospitalization unitLocated on the 10th floor of the CHU Côte de Nacre, unit 30, the hospitalization unit consists of 10 beds and mainly accommodates subjects with severe infectious pathologies ( infections of the nervous system, cardiovascular system, prosthesis, etc.) or on weakened ground (immunocompromised for example) of a community nature (acquired in an extra-hospital environment) or nosocomial (acquired in a hospital environment) or tropical (malaria) .
Welcoming patients suffering from localized infections in various organs, the Infectious Diseases Unit maintains privileged relationships with the various organ specialist care departments in order to optimize patient care.
The Regional Coordination Center for the fight against HIV ( COREVIH )The COREVIH is located in the department and monitors approximately 950 HIV-infected patients . It collaborates with the University Hospital of Rouen on information and prevention of HIV .
