The dental department has three missions: a care mission with the diagnostic, preventive and therapeutic management of oral and dental diseases, a training mission for future dental surgeons and a research and innovation mission in connection with the other departments of the establishment.

From Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The Center offers a full range of dental care (restorative and restorative treatments, prosthetics, implants, etc.) for all patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Medical care in the six available dental chairs is provided by final-year students from the Rennes Faculty of Dentistry, supervised by dentists from the University Hospital.

Our services

Dental emergencies

We would like to draw attention to the fact that this service is not an emergency dental service. Emergency dental care is not provided here and falls under the purview of private practitioners, such as stomatologists or dentists.

The management of infectious, hemorrhagic or traumatic maxillofacial emergencies (facial wounds, bites, trauma and fractures of the face and teeth)is therefore not done directly at the consultation of the service, but at the University Hospital Emergency Medicine of the University Hospital (level 1 of the Côte de Nacre tower).

Dental care

The service offers a full range of dental care (restorative care, prosthetics, implants, etc.) for all audiences and ages.

Medical care on the 6 open chairs is provided by final year students from the Faculty of Dentistry of Rennes supervised by dental surgeons from the Caen Normandy University Hospital (Dr Hervé Le Tarnec, Dr Constance Ambroise, Dr Khalil Dawod) and city dental surgeons.
