The laboratory provides diagnostictesting for patients with immune system disorders or conditions affecting the immune response. These include autoimmune diseases, immunodeficiencies, monoclonal gammopathies, allergic diseases, and monitoring of biotherapies. It is a reference laboratory for the investigation of anaphylactic reactions and hereditary immunodeficiencies.
sectorHistocompatibility (HLAmanages the care of donors and recipients for organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplants, typing HLA within the framework of HLA -disease , as well as the registry of voluntary bone marrow donors (DVMO).

Activities
The immunology department performs assessments within the framework- autoimmunity autoantibodies linked to connective tissue diseases, polyarthritis myositis, vasculitis, antiphospholipids, endocrinopathies (thyroid, diabetes) digestive and hepatopathies, dysthyroidism, onconeurals, autoimmune skin diseases.
- Dysglobulinemias: electrophoresis and immunofixation of immunoglobulins (in blood and urine), assays of immunoglobulins and light chains
- Acquired or hereditary immunodeficiencies: standard and extended lymphocyte phenotyping, immunoglobulin class and subclass assays, vaccine responses
- exploration of the complement : functional CH50 and weight-related
- Allergy testing: specific IgE assays, investigation of anaphylactic reactions, basophil activation tests, multi-allergen microchips
- Flow cytometry of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid and search for paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria clone
- Immunomonitoring of biotherapies using monoclonal antibodies, antibody assays and immunization screening, and CAR-T cell therapy
sector HLA achieves- genotyping HLA for organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation 24/7 emergency HLA and lymphocyte crossmatching prior to organ transplantation
- the search and identification of anti-HLA
- typing HLA and diseases.
- quantification of CD34-positive cells
- Monitoring donor/recipient chimerism after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
