Neuromuscular Diseases
Neuromuscular diseases can affect children and adults. They are of very diverse origin (genetic, inflammatory, toxic and medicinal, metabolic, etc.) and can have an impact on different functions of the body (motor, respiratory, cardiac function) and be associated with other neurological or others.
The center is coordinated by Dr. Nathalie Bach and is attached to the Reference Center for Neuromuscular Diseases Nord/Est/Ile de France.
It is made up of two multidisciplinary teams divided into two sectors, adult and child.

Activities
Neuromuscular diseasesTheir management requires the intervention of several health professionals within the framework of multidisciplinary consultations in order to help with the precise diagnosis and management of these diseases. The necessary complete assessment can be carried out within the framework of a fixed-term scheduled hospitalization (day hospitalization possible) in order to group the various examinations in the same place and at the same time, avoiding multiple round trips.
