Begun in the fall of 2006, the construction and fitting out of the Woman-Child-Hematology ( FEH ) hospital was completed in the 4th ^quarter of 2009.
With a surface area of nearly 35,000 m², the FEH , located south of the Tour Côte de Nacre, between it and the ring road, has a capacity of more than 300 beds.
Since November 23, 2009, the building has housed all Women-Child and hematology activities:

the reception of pediatric medical and surgical emergencies and gynecology-obstetrics,
functional gynecology-obstetrics units,
functional units of neonatology, intensive care and neonatal resuscitation,
functional medical pediatrics units,
functional pediatric medical and surgical resuscitation units,
pediatric surgery functional units,
the operating theater and birth rooms,
adult clinical hematology functional units,
pediatric onco-haematology functional units,
external consultations and medical PCs of the FEH ,
the helicopter emergency drop-off area.

All the medical, surgical and obstetrical activities of the establishment, requiring the use of the technical platform, and all the emergency services, adults, pediatrics and obstetrics, will therefore be brought together on the Côte de Nacre site. .

The Women-Child-Hematology Hospital also has a hotel residence intended primarily to accommodate accompanying persons, but also doctors and lecturers passing through the CHU ( on the forecourt of the hospital, at the forefront of the building) .
