Access to the University Hospital
starting August 19
Access and traffic flow have been modified
From August 19th, for a period of one year, the eastern intersection currently serving the southern building of the Caen Normandy University Hospital, including the gynecological, obstetrical and pediatric emergency departments, via the emergency walkway, the research walkway and the toddlers' walkway, will be closed due to connection work between the building FEH and the new hospital.
All vehicle traffic flows are being modified in this area of the Côte de Nacre site, while pedestrian and bicycle traffic flows are being maintained and adapted. New access points are being created to ensure the continued operation of all services at the Caen Normandy University Hospital, supplemented by temporary directional signage.
The site's east-west connection is already accessible from parking lot P1 / Main Entrance. Accompanied users can be dropped off at the service entrances by vehicle; drop-off zones are available for this purpose. Parking lots P1 and P2 remain open throughout the duration of the works.
