The medical biology services at Caen Normandy University Hospital have been awarded the "Reference Medical Biology Laboratory" (LBMR) label. This national label recognizes laboratories offering specific skills and environments essential for the management of complex pathologies and the performance of specialized tests.
What is an LBMR ?
A LBMR is a nationally recognized medical biology laboratory of reference for one or more medical biology tests or for one or more specific pathologies. It provides specific skills and environments guaranteeing operational expertise to support specialized care and to advise on, perform, and interpret specific tests necessary for the management of the reference pathology.*
