TasksOur management platform at the DRI is central to the management of the DRI . In close collaboration with the functional departments, we design and implement the EPRD (Estimated Revenue and Expenditure Statement) for the research and innovation department, while developing financial forecasts tailored to the various programs.
DRI structures in logistical, administrative, and financial matters. Furthermore, we work closely with functional departments to optimize procurement policy and human resources management. Our team also produces activity reports and provides essential management tools.
We coordinate the Quality and Certification missions of the DRI , while ensuring a privileged link between the different structures of the directorate and the functional directorates of the University Hospital.
We propose to the communications department events and articles related to research in order to promote and raise the profile of the research at the University Hospital.
The platform also includes an administrative unit that handles the administrative aspects of internal and external sponsorship projects and programs. This unit also has a single point of contact responsible for processing external sponsorship applications in collaboration with the various trial stakeholders (sponsor, laboratory, etc.). This single point of contact provides administrative and regulatory support for conducting clinical trials, including compiling the administrative file, financial management (calculating hospital costs related to the study), as well as validating agreements, invoicing, and managing single contracts. Contact for external sponsorship applications: promotion-ext@chu-caen.fr. Contact for invoicing: cell-admin-recherche@chu-caen.fr
ActivitiesThe platform produces and coordinates all ministerial and supervisory activity reports (MERRI surveys under PIRAMIG, MESRI surveys, CURIE network, HCERES, GIRCI , CTD annual report, internal monitoring indicators, quality indicators), and manages the study and program management software (EASYDORE). On average, it completes 10 surveys annually. It produces recurring indicators, both annual and monthly, with two main objectives: evaluation and communication.
From an administrative point of view, this represents an average of 750 letters processed annually, 520 invoices, and 210 orders.
The steering platform, in conjunction with the Human Resources Department, manages approximately 25 annual renewals of fixed-term contracts on research projects and a human resources forecast of 85 FTEs in 2025. In conjunction with the Finance Department, it manages €3.8 million of expenses tracked across nearly 200 functional units.
A quality specialist has been added to this structure to provide support for the quality approach and ISO9001 certification.
Communication activities around research are managed by our executive assistant, enabling the holding of events and the publication of numerous articles promoting innovations in research.
