35th Western Transplant Congress

The Organ and Tissue Donation Coordination and the anesthesia and intensive care department of the Caen Normandy University Hospital are organizing the 35th Congress of the West Transplant Association, on Friday, November 7, 2025.

This annual event brings together all the stakeholders in the Greater West involved in tissue harvesting, grafting and organ transplantation : medical and paramedical professionals, surgeons, doctors, researchers and clinicians.

The program will cover innovations in imaging and transplantation, oral presentations , and an AFERETICA symposium dedicated to new technologies. The afternoon plenary session will focus on other professions related to organ donation, with presentations on the roles of psychologists, perfusionists, and organ transport.

The day will be punctuated by the presentation of the Ouest Transplant scholarship and will conclude with the association's general assembly
