Another successful day for research!

On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, an important regional event for research was held at the PFRS : the Normandy Biomedical Research Day (JNRB), an annual event that is always highly anticipated and a great success!

This eighth edition brought together 250 participants from the world of research: doctoral students, clinicians, students, researchers, scientists and paramedical professionals.

In total, 141 health research papers were submitted for the event, distributed as follows:

32 oral presentations
10 annotated posters
99 posters displayed

The presentations were of a very high quality and demonstrated the dynamism of research in the Normandy region. The jury commended the level of expertise in the presentations and awarded several prizes for oral presentations and posters with commentary.

After a welcome by the President of the University of Caen, Mr. Lamri Adoui, and by Mr. Samuel De Luze, Deputy Director General – Territorial Strategy of the Caen Normandy University Hospital – who both highlighted the dynamism of research in the Normandy region – two key moments marked this day:

Professor Eustache and Professor Peschanski delivered a remarkable lecture on the evolution of memories (individual and collective) within the framework of the November 13th Program. The connection with our city's millennium celebrations reinforced the significance of this theme of memory.

In the afternoon, the audience was captivated by the presentation of Professor Anita Burgun, who also addressed a topical issue: digital health data.

A big thank you to all the participants and speakers for this day full of exchanges and discoveries!
