Health Prevention Day – January 21, 2026

The Caen Normandy University Hospital , in conjunction with the Health Prevention Group , is organizing its first Health Prevention Day on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 , from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. , in the main entrance hall of the University Hospital .

This day, open to all , aims to raise public awareness of the major issues of prevention and health promotion, through stands, interactive workshops and discussion sessions.

A day dedicated to prevention and well-being

Throughout the day, health professionals and prevention stakeholders will meet with the public to inform, advise and exchange ideas on essential topics for everyday health.

Awareness booths throughout the day

From 10am to 5pm , information booths will be continuously accessible.
They will allow visitors to freely exchange ideas with professionals, ask questions, and obtain practical advice tailored to each individual.

Mornings: Prevention workshops (reservations required) (10am – 12:30pm)

The morning will be devoted to prevention workshops , offered on reservation , in order to promote interactivity and exchanges in small groups.

Among the workshops offered:

addiction and virtual reality
tobacco addiction assessment
escape games and nutrition
smoothie bike
adapted physical activity
and other prevention-related activities

Afternoon: mini-conferences and highlights (2pm – 5pm)

Mini-conferences

In the afternoon, 10-minute mini-conferences will be offered on the main themes of the day.

These short formats will allow us to convey key messages that are concrete and accessible to everyone.

An artistic and symbolic time

The afternoon will also be marked by the presence of the painter Van Luc , who will create live a work entitled "The Prevention Cow" , a symbol of the CHU's commitment to prevention and health.
