The sharing of technical skills on a single infectious platform and medical skills in a department (= federative structure) of infectious agents, is effective on the same site, the Biology · Research building since March 9, 2023. It brings together the services of Virology (formerly on the Clémenceau site) , Bacteriology and Mycology · Parasitology (formerly on the Côte de Nacre site and already grouped in the microbiology service) and finally the Prevention & Control of Infections (formerly Hospital Hygiene on the Côte de Nacre site, operational team and hygiene laboratory).
Thanks to this collaboration, we have initiated new, more syndromic organizations, new training programs for a common skills development both technical and medical, a modernization of our fleet of automated equipment, and the recruitment of new practitioners and technicians trained in "omics" innovations.
