Hand hygiene saves millions of lives each year when practiced at the right time and in the right way as part of healthcare delivery.

The Infection Prevention and Control Service (SPCI) is organizing the Hygiene Olympics from Monday 13 to Friday 17 May.

Throughout the week, the SPCI will be visiting the departments to raise awareness among the teams about the essential role of hand hygiene in care and to mobilize healthcare professionals around the prevention of healthcare-associated infections.
