Hand hygiene saves millions of lives each year when practiced at the right time and in the right way during healthcare delivery.

The Infection Prevention and Control Service (SPCI) is organizing the Hygiene Olympics from Monday 13 to Friday 17 May.

All week, the SPCI will visit the departments to raise awareness among teams about the essential role of hand hygiene in healthcare and to mobilize healthcare professionals around the prevention of healthcare-associated infections.
