World Breastfeeding Week

From October 13 to 19, 2025, on the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week, the maternity-obstetrics department of the Caen Normandy University Hospital is organizing a day dedicated to breastfeeding on Monday, October 13.

Open to everyone – patients, families, healthcare professionals and the general public – this day will be punctuated by workshops, stands and conferences led by teams from the University Hospital, the Maternal and Child Health Service, independent professionals and partner associations.

A special moment to learn, exchange and share about breastfeeding, its challenges, practices and benefits for children, parents and society.

For the patients

Stand open from 9am to 5pm: Welcome by lactation experts in the FEH
Conference with 2 time slots at 11am and 3pm: winter virus prevention and breastfeeding with a discussion period
