Support the Normandy Ouest Cancer Institute: Excellence and Innovation at the service of patients

The Normandy West Cancer Institute, within the CHU Caen Normandie, is a public reference center for the management of all cancers . With recognized expertise and advanced therapeutic approaches, it welcomes nearly 7,000 patients , representing 20 % of the activity of the CHU .

Thanks to its 50 confirmed cancerologists and the involvement of more than 20 hospital services, the Institute offers innovative and personalized care , adapted to the needs of each patient. Its influence goes beyond the borders of Calvados, attracting patients from all over Normandy wishing to benefit from the most recent advances in terms of care and support. This excellence is also confirmed by the classification of the CHU Caen Normandie in 12ᵉ place of French health establishments Le Point magazine in 2024, making the CHU the 1st Norman establishment in terms of care, training and innovation.

The Normandy West Normandy Institute is both a local structure for territory patients and an appeal structure for the most complex cancers, guaranteeing fair access to the most advanced treatments.
