The latest epidemiological bulletin from Public Health France indicates that Calvados is now in the post-epidemic phase for viral respiratory infections. This means that the mandatory mask-wearing requirement in healthcare settings and in the presence of patients, implemented to limit the transmission of winter viruses, can be eased .
However, masks remain essential in case of respiratory symptoms in order to protect vulnerable people and limit the transmission of viruses.
