New bus traffic arrangements in the university hospital area
The construction work on the footbridge that will connect the FEH to the new university hospital buildings will impact bus and car traffic.
Changes to city bus access will be in effect from. July 1, 2024
Changes to the service to the University Hospital by line 8
area CHU / Baclesse / Campus 5 by line 8 will change from July 1, 2024.
The works located on Allée des Recherches, between the University Hospital and the Women and Children's Centre, are causing road restrictions which prevent buses on line 8 from using certain roads.
The Campus 5, Morice, Baclesse, and CHU stops will no longer be served. Line 8 will terminate at the Sphère stop.
- The Morice, Baclesse and CHU stops are no longer served
- The Campus 5 bus stop has been moved to the RD401 opposite theFaculty Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Line 8 terminates at the Sphere stop
The stops: From the CHU stop, go to the CHU station of tram T2. From the Baclesse stop, go to the CHU station of tram T2, or to the Morice stop of line 5. From the Morice stop, go to the Morice stop of line 5, or to the Campus 5 stop of lines 5, 6 and 8. From the Campus 5 stop, go to the temporary Campus 5 stop located on the RD401.
No changes to lines 5 and 6.
The roadworks will be completed in 14 months.
