Global Antibiotic Resistance Week

The teams from the infectious diseases services, from the microbial agents department of Caen Normandy University Hospital, in collaboration with the Laboratory of Bacterial Communication and Anti-Infectious Strategies (Caen Normandy University) offer you:

■ 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: information day on antibiotic resistance;

■ 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.: conference-debate for the general public, lecture hall. Egg.

Maintaining the effectiveness of antibiotics is the responsibility of each of us

World Antibiotic Resistance Week takes place each year from November 18 to 24 at the initiative of the WHO in order to better inform the general public (and health professionals) about the ever-increasing risks linked to use. inappropriate antibiotics. The most recent data confirm the growing number of patients infected with resistant bacteria.

The main message of this mobilization against Antibiotic Resistance is that maintaining the effectiveness of antibiotics is the responsibility of each of us.
