From July 1 to 4, the Beauregard festival comes to the CHU
Since 2016, the Beauregard Festival has been held at the Caen Normandy University Hospital (CHU) in the lead-up to the festival. Each year, a variety of activities showcasing diverse musical practices are offered. For four days, our patients, healthcare professionals, and students will have the opportunity to interact with the participants and partners of this event.
Activities in the departments
From Monday 1 to Thursday 4 July, the Caen Normandy University Hospital will host Tête et les mains for electronics workshops, musicians from Musique en Plaine for bedside concerts with the group Seventh Heaven , the Brigade Javotte with magic and theatrical entertainment, circus workshops from the association les Artistochats and a new addition, Joakim hairdresser for wild hairstyles in pediatrics.
Visit to the Beauregard site
Patients, professionals from the University Hospital and students from paramedical training programs will also be received at the festival site, at the Château de Beauregard, for a complete tour to discover the behind-the-scenes aspects and the different professions involved in setting up such an event.
Exposure
In parallel, during the month of July, a retrospective exhibition of the festival posters will be presented in the Hall of the Côte de Nacre Tower.
Broadcasting of concerts
A "Festival 2023 recap" video will also be available for one week on the hotel's room TV channel.
This partnership between the Caen Normandy University Hospital and the Beauregard Festival is a key moment in the cultural programming of the establishment and marks its anchoring in the cultural space of the Caen agglomeration.
