Children and adolescents with a parent who has cancer or a serious illness.
Children's words
The Caen Normandy University Hospital offers a support group for children and teenagers whose parent has cancer or a serious illness.
These meetings are facilitated by Gwendolyn Anger, a psychologist. They provide a space for listening and sharing, allowing children to express themselves freely about their parent's illness.
A space that encourages children to talk about their parent's illness.
It allows them to share their experiences and meet other children and teenagers.
A place for discussion and listening where they can come to share their questions, doubts, and concerns.
The sessions take place in the wellness room of the Maison Sport Santé ( MSS ), located at the Côte de Nacre entrance on level 1 of the Caen Normandie University Hospital.
They are held on Wednesdays, from 2pm to 4pm.
Dates 2025: December 17th
Dates 2026: January 28th, March 11th, April 29th and June 10th
Participation is free, but registration is required at least 48 hours in advance by telephone with the pain and palliative care team at 02 31 06 51 49.
