These sheets detail all the activities, know-how and knowledge required to practice these professions. As you will see, they have many similarities, which is why the training offered today is common for both orientations.

    New 2-year work-study training offer

The IFCS of the Caen University Hospital Center includes its training offer in the regional training program of the Normandy region with the support of the IAE university management school of Caen-Normandy. To do this, the IAE and the IFCS offer a “Master Sector Management” course “Management of Health Organizations ( MOeS )”, backed by the health executive diploma.

The training closely combines the program of the decree of August 18, 1995 relating to the health executive diploma, consolidated version of April 1, 2010 , and the teaching units relating to the university diploma. This involves developing the skills expected to practice the profession of healthcare executive in a complex and constantly evolving environment.

Since September 2023, the IFCS has been offering a new two-year work-study training offer concurrently with the Master MOeS from the IAE in Caen (presentation brochure to download below) .

The training spread over 2 years, in an integrative work-study process, will allow you to alternate between the institute and your employer .

A new training offer that will:

    • Strengthen alternating learning in an evolving and progressive way.
    • Promote support for health executives in their professionalization process.
    • Contextualize the different learning in the field throughout the training in an incremental and adaptive way.
    • Spread the health executive/Master training over 2 years alternately in order to balance and smooth learning over time and thus optimize the appropriation of methods, approaches, tools and concepts.
    • Separate preparation for the entrance exam from the training system.
    • Develop IFCS continuing education (adaptation to new challenges in the health system and developments in the profession).

Career development provides access to positions as center care manager , senior health manager and director of care through competition in the public hospital service. The position of secondment or secondment is possible, in particular for positions in another administration or even in the private sector such as private health establishments of collective interest (ESPIC).
