Objective
The CRPPE aims to contribute to the prevention of accidents at work and occupational diseases by providing assistance to doctors in different circumstances:
- Confirmation of the professional origin of a condition that may be work-related, allowing at the same time the identification of underestimated or sometimes still unknown occupational risks.
- Confirmation of the environmental origin of an ailment
- Determination of the medical fitness for work of patients who may present a particular susceptibility to certain occupational risks, and advice on vocational and educational guidance.
- Professional integration or continued employment of patients with disabilities.
- Assessment of the risks linked to the implementation of certain products or industrial processes, or to the degradation of the working environment.
Returning to work after Cancer
A multidisciplinary return-to-work assistance consultation has been set up to help and guide cancer patients in preparing for their return to work, thanks to this consultation which involves a doctor specializing in occupational pathology, a social worker and psychologist.
