Tasks
Objective
The CRPPE aims to contribute to the prevention of workplace accidents and occupational diseases by providing assistance to doctors in various circumstances:
- Confirmation of the occupational origin of an illness that may be related to work, allowing at the same time the identification of underestimated or sometimes still unknown occupational risks.
- Confirmation of the environmental origin of a condition
- Determination of medical fitness for work of patients who may have a particular susceptibility to certain occupational risks, and advice on career and educational guidance.
- Professional integration or continued employment of patients with disabilities.
- Risk assessment related to the implementation of certain industrial products or processes, or to the degradation of the work environment.
Returning to work after cancer
A multidisciplinary consultation to help with returning to work has been set up to help and guide cancer patients to prepare for their return to work, thanks to this consultation which brings together a doctor specializing in occupational pathology, a social worker and a psychologist.
