Hope and support: The Family House at Caen Normandy University Hospital
In the heart of the Caen Normandy University Hospital, a hopeful project is taking shape: the Family House . A place that will change the lives of hundreds of families of children hospitalized far from home.
A place of hope and comfort for all families
The Family House will allow parents of hospitalized children, living far from Caen, to feel at home. Enabling families to be present with hospitalized children is a priority! Parents are true partners in their children's care. The Family House will facilitate this close connection with the hospitalized child. The Family House will welcome around one hundred families each year, in 10 warmly furnished studios. Common areas will also be set up so that parents can interact with each other and with the associations present.
