Our schools & training institutes

The University Hospital Center is a key player in the training of health professionals . Whether it is initial training for students in health professions or working professionals, a vast and innovative training offer is available to you.

Each year, 900 students and more than 3,500 health professionals train at the CHU.

All of these training courses are grouped together and delivered on the same training site where they have joined the medical training courses (UFR health), the research sector of the CHU and the University Health Library. More than 800 students are trained there each year.

The CHU also provides training for healthcare professionals . Each year, the CHU trains more than 3,500 professionals.

The CHU's commitment to excellence and the quality of our training services is evidenced by the Qualiopi certificate. Supported by AFNOR since February 2022, the Caen University Hospital is engaged in a process of continuous improvement. We regularly evaluate our training and processes to optimize them and take full consideration of the feedback from the people we train throughout the year.
