Support the Adolescent Children's Institute: projects to better treat and support

The Women's Adolescent Institute of CHU Caen Normandy is a pole of excellence dedicated to the health of women, children and adolescents. Each year, more than 7,000 young patients are taken care of, in an environment designed to combine medical expertise and benevolence. With 130 pediatric rooms , the Institute welcomes children and adolescents requiring specialized care every day, while fully involving parents, essential partners in the care path.

Thanks to its advanced specialties, the Institute welcomes patients from all over Normandy and neighboring regions, thus guaranteeing expert management and adapted to the most complex pathologies.

To meet the specific needs of patients and young patients, we develop innovative programs :

• For women : personalized care courses around maternity, gynecological diseases and breast cancer, with easy access to innovative care.
• For children and adolescents : initiatives focused on well-being and reception of parents, spaces suitable for long-term hospitalization, as well as psychological and ludo-educational support projects.
