Dominique Valeyre practiced as a hospital-based university pulmonologist at Paris-Nord University and the Paris-Seine Saint-Denis Hospital Group. He also served as head of department for 10 years and was a member of the AP-HP Medical Committee . Retired since September 1 , 2020, he continues to be active as an Emeritus Professor, notably at INSERM UMR 1272 within Sorbonne Paris-Nord University, and as a part-time consultant physician at Saint-Joseph Hospital in Paris.
