The resident star actors of a short film to discover at Lux!

As part of a Health Culture project, 13 residents of RPA · Charité participated in the creation of a short film on the theme of travel. Accompanied during several workshops by Aurélia Buquet, director and Arthur Shelton, screenwriter and director, the residents became familiar with the techniques of cinema and dramatic game. The film, of ten minutes, will be broadcast to the general public at the Lux cinema, Thursday March 23 at 2 p.m.

Discovering the 7th art , in front and behind the camera

For several days, residents were able to discover the world of cinema, think about a story to tell, write a script, position the camera or work their acting, placement of their voice, their diction or their gaze.
After 21 preparation workshops, the shooting took place for 3 days in the residence premises and the streets of Caen.

The film "Voyage, Voyage" in a few words

“A postcard arrives in the mailbox, such as an invitation at the start. The audacity of a trip, dare to have a dream elsewhere ... Let's go! The characters, each in turn, envisage their ideal destinations and take us on it for a tour of the poetic world. »»

The residents also produced t-shirts and goodies in screen printing with the L'Encress association, bearing the image of their film. A particularly joyful moment in the continuity of the cinema workshops, mixing laughing and sharing.

Collective work to promote exchanges and enhance self -esteem

The project is part of a desire of the CHU Caen Normandie to continue a quality process of reception of its users in the care and support of residents, families and visitors. Culture, by investing RPA-La Charité, contributes to maintaining a link with the outside.

In these places of life, it is an opportunity to bring conviviality, by promoting exchanges between the audiences concerned: residents, families, caregivers and medical personal while valuing self -esteem.

This mix of the audiences involved in the project is the fruit of a strong will of the CHU Caen Normandy, it allows residents to get out of their daily lives, to discover universes but also to learn.

This project is also part of the development and consolidation of local partnerships between CHU Caen Normandie and cultural structures and local artists.
