The CHU Caen Normandie unveils its establishment project.

This new establishment project is the result of co-construction work initiated by more than 200 caregivers, engineers, doctors, administrators, logisticians.
The representatives of the users also contributed their stone to the building.

The main axes of the project

The 2022-2026 establishment project of the CHU Caen Normandie is available in 3 major axes covering all of its treatments for supply, teaching and research and structuring its territorial role:

heal and care;
innovate and transmit;
federate and unite.

It aims in particular to support the reconstruction project of the CHU synonymous with modernization in the service of the health
of the territory and a better thought out work environment. The implementation of the establishment project will gradually integrate new organizations and new tools that will prefigure the operation of the establishment from 2026.

This establishment project includes strong orientations such as the continuation of the development of the outpatient department already
started with in particular the opening in 2022 of the outpatient surgery platform, the overhaul of the internal organization of the CHU services or the emphasis on a large-scale digital transformation.
