The Institute of Hematology of Basse-Normandie is the hospital and university reference structure for the management of benign and malignant hematological pathologies in western Normandy. The institute's teams are committed to ensuring excellence in care, scientific research and the well-being of patients.

An institute heavily involved in research

In 2023, the clinical research team has successfully supervised over 80 clinical studies, all open for inclusion. These studies, designed to evaluate innovative and quality approaches in the field of hematology, have seen remarkable participation from the medical community and patients. More than 300 patients have played an essential role in the advancement of research and the development of new therapies.

The institute is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality in all phases of clinical research. It works closely with academic partners, regulatory bodies and pharmaceutical companies to ensure strict compliance with standards.

The team continues to explore new avenues of research to improve current treatments and develop innovative therapies to help shape the future of hematology care.
