Millennium Arts & Sciences Project

As part of the Caen Millennium 2025, take part in an art-science study which evaluates the effect on well-being of an encounter with the work, during two visits to the museum.
Caen Normandy University Hospital is looking for volunteers as part of the Art, Well-being, Brain study: effects of visits to the museum on neurocognitive well-being.

Volunteer and contribute to a study that evaluates the effect on well-being of an encounter with the work.

Who can participate?

Volunteers aged 18 to 65 who can comfortably look at a painting without wearing glasses

To contribute to the advancement of science, acquire knowledge, be aware…

Duration

1 hour for the study presentation and inclusion visit
2 additional half-days for study

An emblematic Arts and Sciences project for the Caen 2025 Millennium, supported by the Caen Museum of Fine Arts, the Blood&Brain@Caen Normandy institute, the PhIND, LaPsydé, NIMH, GREYC, CYCERON research units, the University of Caen Normandy and Caen Normandy University Hospital in partnership with Oblique/s.
A study approved by a Committee for the Protection of People.
Protocol carried out in compliance with Good Clinical Practices and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data used for research is anonymized. Volunteers can withdraw from the study at any time, without giving a reason. ABC protocol – RCB ID number: 2024-A00301-46
