Wearing a mask
At the university hospital, we're putting the masks back on!
In light of the epidemic and in order to prevent the transmission of respiratory infections, wearing a mask is now mandatory at the Caen Normandy University Hospital .
This measure applies to all persons present in the hospital, according to the following terms:
For all
- Masks must be worn throughout the hospital if you have respiratory symptoms.
For patients
- Hospitalized patients: wearing a mask outside their room.
- External patients: wearing a mask during consultations, on the technical platform and in the corridors.
- Day hospitalization ( DH ): wearing a mask outside the room and in a shared room.
For visitors
- Masks must be worn in healthcare areas when patients are present.
For the agents
- Masks must be worn in patient care areas.
These measures aim to protect patients, staff and visitors, and to limit the spread of respiratory infections within the facility.
