A great initiative at the IHBN
A great initiative at the IHBN (Lower Normandy Hematology Institute), gastronomic lunches for patients hospitalized in the protected sector.
Bringing a little comfort to hospitalized patients, it also goes through the plate! A great initiative at the Hematology Institute of CHU Caen Normandie , with the support of the Chugaï laboratory, and the restaurant La Villa Eugène de Caen.
Thanks to these supporters, the CHU is proud to allow 14 hospitalized patients in the protected sector (sterile chamber) of the hematology institute of Lower Normandy to be able to taste a chef menu!
These patients remain on average 4 weeks which is particularly trying on the physical level. This meal is therefore a real moment of pleasure and escape, improving their well-being, their morale, their appetite, and their emotional nutritional state.

On the menu of March 6:
- ASPIC de Butternut
- Foie foie gras in cube and crumble, poultry ballotine - sweet potato cream, albufera sauce and vegetables cooked in English
- Dessert a delicious rice in house caramel bed.
This operation will be renewed once a month.
