UAPED (Pediatric Reception Unit of children in danger)

The pediatric reception unit in danger ( UAPED ) of the CAEN CHU, created in January 2023, is a multidisciplinary unit dedicated to supporting professionals working with children and adolescents, faced with situations of danger suspected or proven.

It offers services adapted to the needs of the child: medical consultations, telephone reviews, emergency hospitalizations.

Create a continuum of care and support throughout the territory.

Foster collegiality and collective expertise for a secure and adapted response.

Lay the foundations for an extension to Eastern Normandy .
