To help them cross these difficult times, we have introduced an innovative device: interactive slabs . These hypno-analgesic and circadian ceiling slabs aim to soothe young patients and help them better manage pain and anxiety.
An innovative device to distract and appease hospitalized children
During medical care, anxiety and pain can be particularly difficult to manage for a child. To improve their management, the CHU Caen Normandie Foundation wishes to equip all the pediatric services with hypno-analgesic and circadian ceiling slabs .
These colorful ceiling tiles incorporate interactive games. During the care, a caregiver or a parent can interact with the child through these devices, thus helping him to divert his attention from the medical act.
A real impact on the well-being of young patients
✔ Reduction of stress and pain : these slabs have a hypno-analgesic , helping to reduce the perception of pain.
✔ A more soothing environment : by making hospitalization chambers and more fun and interactive care rooms, these installations meet the needs of children.
