Accompanying chair
Every day, the CAEN University Hospital Center (CHU) welcomes 130 children in hospital, whatever their age, from newborns to adolescents. The CAEN CHU Foundation wishes to equip all 130 pediatric chair chairs with accompanying chair , in order to provide comfortable sleeping to each parent, allowing him to stay with his sick child.
Parents of hospitalized children, care partners ...
When children are hospitalized, it is essential that one of the parents can stay by their side , offering support , which helps reduce their stress and anxiety. Supporting chairs therefore guarantee a more soothing environment for families, promoting better recovery of young patients.
In addition, by standardizing the quality of sleeping for loved ones in the 5 pediatric services, these accompanying chairs will offer a fair solution for all parents.

Testimonials

Laetitia, mother of Enzo
This allowed me to stay next to Enzo during his hospitalization because I live next to the Ferté Macé. Since the age of 3, Enzo has been hospitalized at the CHU in other services where there were not these accompanying chair-books. I didn't like the idea of leaving in the evening and leaving it alone.

Jean-Baptiste, dad of Rose
I know that I could not leave it on my own even if the whole of the healthcare team in which we trust wakes up. When I told me that I could stay sleeping with Rose, it was a real relief.
