Two projects, two ways to innovate as close as possible to the patients
APNEAL Project
APNEAL
The Caen Normandy University Hospital and the start-up APNEAL have launched a clinical research project aimed at testing a new method for screening for obstructive sleep apnea syndrome in patients with cancer of the upper aerodigestive tract, using an application.
Objective: to make screening more accessible and effective.
DRAK-CARE
The University Hospital is collaborating on a clinical study conducted with U15 and U18 players from the Drakkars. For three years, sensors integrated into helmets will measure the intensity and frequency of impacts on the ice.
Objective: to better understand the impacts, strengthen prevention and improve the management of concussions in young athletes.
