Hemovigilance

The main activities of the Hemovigilance are:

  • Traceability of labile blood products prescribed to patients at the University Hospital,
  • The analysis and reporting to theANSM of adverse effects (unexpected or undesirable events occurring during or following a transfusion) and incidents in the transfusion chain,
  • Information and training on "Transfusion" for relevant professionals, including nurses, doctors, interns, midwives, and those responsible for transporting labile blood products…
  • Transfusion investigations,
  • Participation in the University Hospital's Quality initiatives, with the aim of continuously strengthening transfusion safety, with the professionals involved.
