Dr. Hélène Chauvel

After completing her residency in Caen, Hélène Chauvel has been working at the CRPN (Regional Center for Psychosocial Support) two days a week since June 2021. Concurrently, she works at the Caen Mental Health Center (EPSM) in two child and adolescent psychiatry day hospitals for children aged 4 to 10. From 2017 to 2020, she trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with the AFTCC (French Association for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy) in Rennes, specializing in trauma and psychosocial risks during her final year. She earned her University Diploma in Psychotrauma from Paris Descartes University in 2021, completed training in Prolonged Exposure Therapy with Dr. Capaldi in 2022, and completed training in Cognitive Process Therapy in 2023, via videoconference from the United States. She was trained in therapy for prolonged grief disorder by Professor BUI in 2021. She is currently training in systemic therapy by the Institute for Systemic Studies (IDES).
