World Autism Awareness Day

To mark World Autism Awareness Day, professionals from the Centre Ressources Autisme Normandie COM (Calvados, Orne, Manche) are mobilizing in Caen, Alençon and Saint-Lô around several workshops, presentations, exchanges and training sessions.

On the agenda

  • Tuesday, April 2
2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the CRA premises
Open house for caregivers: relaxation, introduction to shiatsu, workshop presenting communication tools, shared snack.
Caregivers will be accompanied by professionals from the CRA throughout the afternoon. Participation will include independent professionals and representatives from Autism Basse-Normandie.
  • Wednesday, April 3
  • 2pm to 4:30pm, Saint-Lô media library
    Immersive workshop presenting the particularities of autism and “living library” workshop.
  • 3pm to 5pm, Alexis de Tocqueville Library in Caen:
    Presentation on the characteristics of autism
  • 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., Decathlon Mondeville:
    Presentation on the specific characteristics of autism in the context of sports. This event is organized in partnership with ASPTT Caen and independent professionals.
  • 10:30 am to 12 pm, at the CRA premises:
    Introductory dance therapy workshop for autistic children and their parents. Reservations required: 02 31 06 58 20/21, individual or small group sessions.
  • Thursday, April 4
9am to 11am, Saint-Lô media library
Health café with the CRA teams, in partnership with the CCAS , the GEM TSA 50 and the SAMSAH TSA 50 .
  • Thursday 4th and Friday 5th April
Pop-up shop, 20 rue aux Sieurs in Alençon.
Presentation of the particularities of autism and proposal of an immersive experience in connection with SAMSAH TSA 61.
  • Friday, April 5
9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Maurice Fouques gymnasium in Caen
CRA's participation in the sports olympiads. Organised by ASPTT and four schools in the Caen area.
  • Wednesday afternoon, April 10
Conference: "Autism: The importance of training to combat stereotypes." Marie-Anna Paulais, psychologist, professional trainer
