The French Blood Establishment ( EFS ) is organizing a blood drive within the hospital, JOIN US, BECOME A DONOR!

Why donate blood?

The need is daily; 550 donations are needed every day in Normandy.
Every day, we need blood to support a woman giving birth, a road accident victim, a cancer patient…

The situations are as varied as they are regular.
The voluntary and altruistic act of donating blood is therefore irreplaceable.

You are irreplaceable!

How does a donation work?

Some information you should know:

to be between 18 and 70 years old
to feel healthy, in good shape and weigh at least 50 kg
Do not be fasting and drink plenty of fluids in the hour before donating (minimum: 500 ml)
You must bring a piece of identification
to be deemed eligible to donate during the pre-donation interview
