The Pediatric Reception Unit for Children in Danger (UAPED) at the Caen University Hospital, created in January 2023, is a multidisciplinary unit dedicated to supporting professionals working with children and adolescents, facing suspected or proven situations of danger.

It offers services tailored to the child's needs: medical consultations, telephone advice, emergency hospitalizations.

Laying the foundations for an extension to Eastern Normandy.
