Electroejaculation

a step forward for preserving the fertility of men with motor disabilities.

Every year, hundreds of men in Normandy see their plans for fatherhood jeopardized. Spinal cord injuries disrupt the nerve signals essential for sexual function and fertility, often making sperm collection impossible using conventional methods.

The acquisition of an will allow for the non-invasive collection of sperm from patients, thus avoiding major surgical interventions.

An innovation serving patients and research

Apply the latest scientific recommendations to preserve male fertility after spinal cord injury

Avoid surgical techniques (such as testicular punctures) and reduce risks for patients.

Optimize the care pathway by integrating this equipment into a comprehensive approach, in collaboration with the urology, MPR and CECOS departments.

This project will offer a new perspective to patients and their families, by supporting their journeys into parenthood.
