Normandy Ethics Reflection Space

TheNormandy Ethics Reflection Center brings together specialists in the humanities and social sciences, law, and medical and paramedical disciplines, and conducts activities for both professionals and the general public in the field of healthcare ethics. Created under the bioethics laws of August 6, 2004, the Regional Ethics Reflection Centers are key players in bioethics and ethical reflection throughout France. There is one in each region. Their role is to contribute to developing a genuine ethical culture among healthcare and social care professionals, as well as the general public. Through their training, documentation, and information missions, as well as through meetings and discussions, they participate in organizing public debates to promote citizen information and consultation on healthcare ethics issues. They also serve as regional observatories of ethical practices.
