corrected age
The corrected age is the age your child would be if they had been born on the due date . This age takes into account the weeks of pregnancy that were missed. The corrected age is therefore equal to the chronological age minus the missing weeks.
Here's an example of the calculation: A baby is born two months before the due date. Three months after birth, the baby will be 3 months old in actual age. But its corrected age will be equivalent to 1 month.
