The service is a regional referral unit for all children aged 0 to 18 with or at risk of suffering from one or more organ failures.
It is equipped with the usual support resources of an intensive care unit (invasive and non-invasive ventilation, extrarenal purification by peritoneal dialysis or hemofiltration, monitoring of intracranial pressure, etc.).
