      Activities Anesthesia

Before surgery, an anesthetist-resuscitator will receive you for a pre-anaesthetic consultation to assess your state of health and offer you appropriate anesthesia (general anesthesia, loco-regional anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, etc.).

During the surgery, the anesthetist-resuscitator accompanied by a State-certified Nurse Anesthetist will ensure your anesthesia, your awakening and your supervision until your return to the service.

After surgery, an anesthetist-resuscitator can intervene during hospitalization if necessary.

The anesthetist-resuscitator also sees you during your pregnancy to organize your anesthetic care during your delivery.

      Activities Resuscitation

Resuscitation services take care of patients whose vital prognosis is threatened in the short term due to a serious accident or the occurrence of sudden organ failure.

The intensive care unit also receives patients who have undergone specific surgery (cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, etc.).

The intensive care units of the CHU carry out a regional referral activity.

These resuscitation units have the most modern organ support techniques (artificial kidney, artificial heart and mechanical ventilation) .
