Back in pictures on the concerts at the CHU

End of season for concerts at Caen University Hospital!

At the CHU, music is every month

While waiting for the resumption in September, with always one concert per month, take advantage of a little musical break with a review of the different artists who came to play for patients and visitors at the start of the year!

Thanks to them !

The artists of the March – June 2023 season

The Wood Brothers:

The concert offered by Les Frères Du Bois is the result of their meeting, that of four musicians who share a common sensibility, a taste for rhythm, text, improvisation, a musicality and a constructive dynamism that they will bring to service of their beautiful compositions. Their realistic songs, which they alternate with well-chosen covers, won't leave you in the dark!

Calva Caennexion coffee:

The Café Calva Caennexion, born in 2018, is a brass band of health students from the city of Caen, which brings together conscientious students by day and singular little clowns by night, with an unwavering carabine spirit always at hand. . You can discover their varied repertoire ranging from Charles Aznavour to Billie Elish, via Coldplay and Stevie Wonder. For this marching band, only one watchword. A good note played with shyness is a wrong note, while a wrong note played with conviction is an interpretation.

Salem 2.0:

SaleM 2.0, an original duo from Caen, composed of GrM Lecouflet on bass (Jammerz trio…) and AleX Vétillard voice (Al'Heks…), invites you to a sensitive and colorful musical interlude by revisiting the great standards of the soul music, folk, pop rock, funk…
A surprising encounter between a melodic bass playing with astonishing vibrations, a powerful warm voice subtly scratched and a piano enveloping by key, such is the bet that SaleM 2.0 has set itself.
Indeed it is unusual to hear this agreement and yet...
SaleM 2.0 reveals an original and plural universe passing by Otis Redding, Bill Withers, Aretha Franklin, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Mickael Jackson, The Police... inviting the public to rediscover these pieces inscribed in our collective unconscious.

Polykrom' vocal and scenic group of 24 choristers who play polyphonic songs with three or four voices with joy and enthusiasm. Their repertoire showcases French song in all its diversity!
