Access to dermatological care is now limited in Normandy, with extended waiting times for specialized consultations. The VECTRA 3D project, carried out by the CAEN CHU, offers a revolutionary solution to video assisted by artificial intelligence , allowing early and precise screening for suspicious skin lesions, including melanomas and bascelulular carcinomas.
An innovative 3D medical monitoring system thanks to AI
This unique system in Normandy will ensure 3D body map , longitudinal monitoring of lesions and optimized analysis thanks to AI, thus reducing the use of unnecessary biopsies and optimizing the management of patients at risk. It fits into a city-hospital care course promoting targeted orientation of patients thanks to dematerialized platforms.
We need you!
The project to acquire this innovative equipment represents an investment of 500,000 euros , an amount which calls for public-private co-financing in order to guarantee an access extended to the early screening of skin cancers for Norman patients.
We are looking for patrons to support this innovative project, which will improve the effectiveness of dermatological screening , will promote medical research and strengthen the attractiveness of the territory in public health.
Together, let's invest in the future of the prevention of skin cancers.
